Narrative Description of Project
Conduct a situational analysis of the current state of public transport services in Lebanon, including existing rules and regulations for offering public transport services, and identify key challenges and opportunities for promoting sustainable practices.
Consultations with transport authorities, bus operators and other relevant private and public stakeholders to determine the best approach and scope.
Surveys to public transport and car users in the northern corridors to identify their bus service quality priorities and willingness to pay.
Identification of potential public transport operators on the northern corridor and their willingness to participate in the GPTS concept.
Conduct capacity-building sessions for public transport operators and relevant stakeholders to promote the GPTS
