Economic feasibility studies were performed in accordance with international standard practice.
Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) were performed for both roads, to provide a sound basis for decision-making about the design of the project that takes environmental considerations into account, producing an environmental management plan. Field-based archaeological surveys were conducted to define potential impacts of the proposed roads on such areas.
