Propose reforms of the Taxi Industry Regulation in Saudi Arabia.
Description of Actual Services Provided
1. Document current operating conditions, evaluating current practices in providing the services, difficulties faced by service providers and users, customer satisfaction, SWOT analysis of provided services. All was based on field survey in 5 large cities and 5 small cities.
2. Review of international experience regarding regulation and de-regulation of taxi services.
3. Propose a regulation strategy.
4. Prepare detailed regulatory legislation.
5. Implement the new regulation and evaluate performance.
