The Rehabilitation and Construction of a Second Lane for The Basra-Fao Road

Narrative Description
of Project

The province of Basra is interspersed with river routes and waterways that require daily traffic to cross through bridges and crossings that have become dilapidated over time or can no longer accommodate excessive traffic, in addition to the need to establish new crossings that meet the population and economic growth requirements of the region. Also, the existence of road intersections that require the establishment of overpasses to provide traffic flow with the increasing number of vehicles occupying the roads.
Accordingly We propose  the implementation of the below  nine bridges and viaduct.
1- One suspended Viaduct Area about 34,000 m2
2- Eight Box Girder bridges Area about 33,000 m2
3- One Girder Bridge Area about 360 m2.
4- About 5 km of different types of Roads.

Description of Actual Services Provided

Site visit to all requested Bridges locations to evaluate the current situation, topographic survey , soil investigations and geotechnical studies , Road geometric design , Bridges structural and  aesthetic design.
Environmental effects of the project , issue conditions of contract , specifications, bill of quantities , Execution  drawings for road geometric and bridges.
